If you decide one person has lost the “right” to not be deadnamed, you are inherently supporting the deadnaming of others by those that have decided they haven’t “earned” it. It’s not about the individual, but the principle. Deadnaming or delegitimizing someone, even under the excuse that they are terrible, opens the door to deadname/delegitimize others for whatever other reason someone sees as valid.
