Something needs to be done

I’m 19 and from Ireland and after seeing what the world is coming too especially after the US elections I want to do something anything to help but I don’t know what I can do I can’t sit ideally by while innocent people get hurt something needs to be done I’m posting here because I know I am more than actually going to get advice I’m scared for us it sounds stupid but I am any advice at all is appreciated thanks
