      Asking questions. Ewan, lagi kasi akong nagooverthink dati on reaching out pag may tanong ako. Feeling ko kasi dati mabobobohan sa akin yung pagtatanungan ko, na dapat alam ko na yung sagot sa itatanong ko. Recently ko lang din naovercome 'to, but ngayon, it comes naturally. Gusto ko lang matuto, and maybe yung pagtatanungan ko will pick-up something from it, too. Kung kailangan ko pang tawagan para lang maiexplain maige yung tanong ko, idemo ganun etc, I’ll do it.

      Also Salted Caramel flavor hehe

      Actually putting in effort to connect with people.

      I used to be extremely shy, and this manifested in me not contributing much to conversations and sometimes looking a little bit standoffish in my body language.

      I still am very shy, but I’ve since learned to work past the initial discomfort of shyness and be active in conversations, or at least make an effort to show other people that I am interested in what they want to say.

      I’ve made a lot of friends I wouldn’t have had I not worked on this part of myself. I only regret not trying earlier.

      I’m not sure if this answer is in the spirit of the question, but that’s the first thing that came to mind.

    “Stand-By Announcers” do just that—stand by and wait for a technical problem to happen and fill in the gap. If all goes well, all he does is give the opening or closing for pre-recorded programs. But that doesn’t exempt them from disasters. Take for example one who was assigned to stand-by while a pre-taped religious program was being replayed. It was running overtime and it had to be cut while the American pastor was in the midst of preaching emphatically “But Jesus said not a word. Then the devil said…” “This is MBC the Manila Broadcasting Company, DZRH, Manila.” What made it more hilarious was that the announcer’s voice sounded like the pastor’s.

          In fairness, I love the transparency of the mod log. I also like how you can put the reason for a thread removal or ban. In Reddit, the best you could do is flair it and a removal reason will be sent via PM.

        Yun nga eh. Kahit na sa tingin ko may point pa siya, tagilid pa rin siya kasi mas wala syang grounds to stand on other than “Meta is doing shady shit.”

        At saka, sabihin na nating obligated si Ruud na walang sabihin (NDA, injunctions or whatever shit), eh … anong point nung pag-post ng ganun? And within a community within lemmy.world at that?‌ Like, di nya territoryo yun!

    Nag-update pala si lemmy.world an hour ago. It fixes the infamous login issue daw.

    Edit for those who still have issues logging in:

    • When using a browser: clear cookies and cache
    • When using an app: remove your lemmy.world account and add it again.

    I’m glad they didn’t adopt the grey border that lemm.ee now has, lol.

    Today’s one of those days that I wish I’ll still wake up tomorrow. Di naman dahil lang may mga naiwan akong pending sa bahay at work (hehe, pero part na din yun hahaha), but just looking forward for some more chances to do the things deep down I’ve been holding back to do, you know? That some next day in the future, pagbibigyan ko na yung sarili kong maging maligayang tunay.

      Isa sa mga natutunan ko today, as in a few minutes ago lang, makapangyarihan yung pakiramdam na kaya mo iexpress ang nadarama mo kahit alam mong irereject ka ng iba. Sana maramdaman ng lahat yung kapangyarihan na yun.

    If you have a non-inverter aircon po that you really are considering changing (if it ever broke down), do it now. Sobrang laki po ng price difference ng electric bill after we used inverter aircons. Make sure you choose the right HP of the aircon to your room. It will work wonders talagaaaaaaaa

    As in, around 3-5k po yung na-less sa electric bill namin, and that’s even after using the aircon unit more.

    It’s unfortunate that lemmy.world continues to experience various issues in the past week. But the up side of it is that all the other instances could benefit from the fixes.

    On a related note, I’ve been using Sync and old.reddit for so long now that I didn’t realize how different new.reddit is from before they started implementing the new UI. It’s using the same topics paradigm (ala hashtags) that makes the official app a mess to use. I’ve only used it for some mod actions that were not available at old.reddit.
