Once someone gets enough work done, it always ends up in the uncanny valley for me.
Mind you, none of my business what someone does with their own body, I’m not saying my impression of things matters outside my head, it doesn’t. It just always leaves me a little confused, especially now that generative “ai” is turning out faces that don’t trigger the uncanny valley in my head.
Kinda weird/cool that humans can alter themselves far enough to start triggering that, while “machines” are finally moving past it.
Is that a realdoll
Nope, walking AI fail. Close, though.
I doubt she can walk at all. Her knees are tied by that dress.
She probably has to be wheeled around on a skateboard.
Like the Ship of Theseus, it’s been decades since she’s been anything but add-ons.
This is a real photo of real people. The people have had lots of work done, and the photo itself is undoubtedly retouched and edited, but it’s not the product of AI. One of the people is @magdalenakeskic on TikTok, @lenakeskic on IG.
Do we do “whoosh” here? I forget.
