First, range is lower in the winter just due to temperatures - batteries just perform worse at low temperatures, but the main problem is heating the cabin - which in combustion engine uses waste heat, while in EV it discharges the battery

Charging station availability is also poor, while competition is gaining traction. Did anyone really thought Tesla can long term compete against well established brands?
