Content is not being actively pushed upon you, rather it’s you that decide what you see like Facebook was at the beginning.
It allows you to use the platform to keep up with other people’s lives instead of watching ads, news article someone liked and you’re not interested in and ragebait.
I personally really like lifting weights and running an the gym. You can do it all at home but having a barbell, squat rack, bench press, weight plates, dumbbells, treadmill, pull down machine, rowing machine and so on at home would take a lot of space at home.
Having it at a different place also helps a lot with motivation IMO, there’s a strong “at the gym I work out” effect instead of being at home where I can take a break and “continue later”.

Great first step but the vast majority of the work still needs to be done. There’s a big difference in getting 300m to the air and back and low earth orbit but Honda is an excellent candidate to get it done.

It is, along with other less desirable compounds like chlorine and PFAS depending on the filter.

This is the nature of modern day proxy conflicts. Both actors can continue easily but the “battlefield” like Gaza and South Lebanon are the ones that lose.

I’m on the opinion that marketing anything related to addiction is immoral and should be illegal. This includes cigarette, gambling, sugar, drugs (looking at you oxycontin), alcohol and even caffeine.
There is a backdoor into people’s brains that should not be used. Allow people go get their own coffee and sugar but don’t remind them it’s missing when they’re quitting.
(Coffee has been shown to be beneficial in reducing the overall death rate in adults when consuming something like 2+ cups a day so marketing it could be beneficial but the chance kids getting addicted to caffeine is something to avoid regardless.)

Those people are parroting harmful ideologies or have shitty sense of taste.

I’d still recommend a filter. It’s not just for drinking it straight but pasta, rice, soup and other boiling makes a huge difference.
Eating a spoon of rice and have it taste like sink water with carbs is not a good vibe. I want it to taste like rice or rice with minerals.

You should try it in Iceland. Tap water is so clean you practically ruin it by putting it in plastic.
One excerpt I enjoyed reading.
Michael Jackson guest-starred as Leon Kompowsky, but went uncredited (credited as John Jay Smith) for contractual reasons; his role was not confirmed until later. Jackson was a fan of the show and called its creator, Matt Groening, offering to do a guest spot. Jackson pitched several story ideas and wrote the song “Happy Birthday Lisa” for the episode. Leon’s singing voice was performed by a Jackson soundalike, Kipp Lennon, due to Jackson’s contractual obligations with his record company.[3] The episode references Jackson’s career, with Kompowsky singing portions of the songs “Billie Jean” and “Ben”.

You have to do some extraordinary mental gymnastics to expect paying for all soldiers in the roman empire is comparable to paying for all soldiers in the US.

Even calculating based on the silver content when sestertius is 2.5g silver gives 90M grams of 90 metric tons. Each gram is valued around $1 so that’s a 90M USD there.

The guy who wrote this is an idiot. Vehicles with self driving should always follow the driving law to the letter regardless of what normal human behavior is. Human drivers do an immense amount of stupid shit in cars so imitating them with a computer is extremely dangerous.
If anything people should have extra safety requirements for self driving cars such as “always 5km/h below speed limit”, “2s stop at stop sign” and “slow down to -10km/h below speed limit before an intersection”.

This could mean that it’s the year of thy Linux desktop 🤔
Not necessarily. The drivers in the kernel are already released and free to use and can be linked to as long as the software linking it retains the GNU license or can claim that it’s a separate service (such as an API or separately installed service) or it has to be installed afterwards like proprietary nvidia drivers.
Either way the source code is released and if the drivers want to retain the proprietary license they the community can make a way to download and compile the driver for the current OS after install. This will save a ridiculous amount of dev time and make Linux phone OS development much easier.
Just read the tard wrangler with the morning coffee. Excellent read, very entertaining.
We need some regulation that makes driver APIs and a linkable compiled version of drivers mandatory to be available upon request.
