The nice thing is that Trump will replace our best generals and other leadership with utter incompetents.

Not so. If a soldier is given an unlawful order, they are obligated to refuse it. If they decide to follow such an order, they are not innocent, it’s on their own heads, and I have zero sympathy for war criminals. Wanna guess how I can tell you never served?

You never served if you think disobeying orders is gonna blow over in the way you outlined here

Blow over? Who ever said anything about that?

It takes courage to be a conscientious objector, especially in the face of fascism. Many good men have been murdered for refusing orders to murder civilians. Despite the consequences, it’s the only ethical position possible.

Refusing unlawful orders is drilled into us in boot camp for damn good reasons. You don’t know what the fuck you’re talking about.

Took you a while to craft a response that maliciously idiotic. 8 hours huh? What did you do, sleep on it? What a waste of your time. I remain unimpressed. Stop talking to me.

Nobody said it was an unlawful order. Just a terrible implementation of bad planning due to “worse generals” which you were celebrating. And no I have no interest in your guessing.
