i really hope so, because if they did, 65% of desktops/wms wpuld become inaccessible, that would really erode my trust with linux
Why would they become inaccessible? Also why would that erode trust?
You can do whatever you want.
many desktops and wms were only designed for Xorg, as wayland wasn’t anywhere in that time
