        AOC has been sort of amazing at identifying this. I remember after the election reading something about her asking people who voted for her and Trump: why?

        Honestly, I live in republicanstan. A lot of the gripes and complaints and hopes and ideas are the same.

          My father-in-law, now a diehard MAGA, was prepared to vote for Bernie in 2016. He’s not an idiot, he was an electrical engineer back when they used slide rules and computer punch cards. It just shows you how people can truly not give a shit about policy and just vote on feels.

        Yes, because they receive more targeted propaganda than us. Either in their churches or on their news.
