Summary

Republican lawmakers are beginning to push back against some of Donald Trump’s spending cuts and tariffs as they impact their states.

Senators Katie Britt, Susan Collins, and Bill Cassidy criticized cuts to NIH funding, which support research institutions in their states.

Rural Republicans introduced a bill to protect the Food for Peace program, which Trump and Elon Musk want to dismantle.

Tariffs on imports, particularly from Canada, have also sparked objections from figures like Mitch McConnell and Chuck Grassley, who warn they will raise costs for farmers and consumers.

Oooooh. Yeah, no. I don’t see it. I think this Britt looks more like Tina Fey TRYING to do a bad impression of a political figure. Not any certain one. Just…just a generic political woman with a stupid face.

Whereas Riley Reed’s face isn’t stupid at all. It’s hot as hell.
