On my mind recently because someone I’m not fucking mentioned that my scent aroused them. At first made me a bit self conscious because I had forgotten to wear deodorant, but it’s not the first time someone has told me that, and I’ve definitely thought to myself that the way some guys smell can get me rock hard.

It’s something I would normally keep to myself, but now I’m wondering if other people are into natural (but still clean!) scents and we just don’t talk about it because of social hangups. I think I prefer people to smell like people and not volatile chemicals.

I meant to circle back around to this but that’s fascinating. It’s totally possible some of the people I’ve noticed a scent on have been wearing some kind of fragrance. I’m so used to them being overbearing or chemically that maybe I’ve missed some really subtle ones.

Now that you’ve defined laundry musk too, I have definitely smelled that before. I’d have said it was a little…antiseptic, maybe? Almost like a hospital but not quite.

Hmm, now I should research some of these. Do you know od anything that kind of mimics or accentuates a sort of stereotypical subtle body odor? Nothing overbearing, but like you said, wears down.

I think you might like an Egyptian Musk lightly applied. The Nuxe dry oil also dries down to sunwarmed skin on me. Phlur Missing Person gets recommended, they have a travel size so you could try it without paying too much. It might be too sour with the bergamot. But a lot of stronger perfumes do dry down to something really nice, subtle and human, even if at the beginning they are more assertive and inhuman, that basenote may be what you are smelling. I’d start with the Egyptian Musk, not a spray, something you can dab on.
