who are these international and ideological competitors ? What happens if they develop it further than for profit corporations ?
To me it seems like for profit corporations themselves are our international and ideological adversaries.
For example, the US and China are international and ideological competitors.
They don’t want to change the law, they just want an exemption for themselves. Rules for thee, not for me.
I think the exemption would be necessary to keep up with other nations who aren’t and will never be beholden to such laws.
