Why was this comment removed?? The composition of a few-sentence opinion without swearing on the Internet is already so rare that it is frightening and other users need to be protected from it??
Mate, I appreciate you sticking up for me, I really do but it’s a bit of a lost cause at this point. Seems that at least one admin has decided that they don’t like me, so that’s that.
But it was so stupid. Like one comment from whole conversation wasn’t removed giving impression like others have some sort of swearing or beeing hateful. When in reality only one comment was. And instead of removing only that one and writing warning admin decided to remove whole discussion with annotation “rude”
This almost puritanical approach to moderation is even more out of place in a NSFW place. In part I think is because the instance disabled downvotes. Downvotes are a form of soft, decentralized moderation. When that’s out of the picture, all the moderation responsibility lies on the mod’s shoulders, and that’s problematic for everyone involved.
The comments were reported, if something is reported I have to look into it, and you guys got into an argument where he called you a cunt. If it devolves into name calling that’s just uncivil arguing. I’m not out to get anyone, I just remove uncivil arguments when they’re reported
