Trump has shown that he doesn’t care about the constitution by violating the 5th and 14th amendments, and he’s toying with the idea of violating the 22nd and MAGA so far has been complicit. Do you think they might say something if he comes for the guns?
You really still don’t get it. “If Trump did this,” “if Trump did that,” that’s literally never going to matter. Imagine these people had their “If” surgically removed. Literally everything is always about “us vs. them” and Trump is built into the “us” and minorities are built into the “them.”
Would they support Trump taking guns away from Democrat voters, trans people, black people, unmarried women? Hell yeah they would! They are are on the other team. Would Trump take their guns away? Of course he wouldn’t! Even if he passed a law that said “everybody has to turn in their guns,” they’d smile and wink because they implicitly understand that “everybody” in that case means “people we don’t like.”
These hypotheticals, this logicking, this trying to figure out conservatives, just makes me fucking boil now. Please, please, will you all just get it already? They don’t care about making sense and they never have, they only care about winning, and they think they have to hurt someone in order to win.
