    If people took more than 30 seconds to read instead of being immediately reactionary, they’d have long since known beehaw’s defederations are due to a lack of lemmy’s own moderation tools currently.

    But you can’t expect anyone to read anything. 😅

      Beehaw wants positivity, that unfortunately requires over-reacting rather than under-reacting. It’s “better play it safe” to them, which I can understand. Doesn’t affect me, since I just use small instances that federate with all beehaw.org, lemmy.world, and sh.itjust.works, and I could always use multiple instances.

      I did read their entire statement, and while I can understand the reasoning behind it, I don’t agree with their whole defederation thing they have going on
