    Correct. They’re not. And thats why there was a recall and that’s why FSD no longer does them.

      You were just defending them as something lots of people do. Make up your mind.

        How is that not possible that something that lots of people do can’t still be illegal? Doing 1mph over the speed limit is also illegal.

        Coming to a complete stop is illegal, yes. The overwhelming majority of drivers do not do this. As a result, drivers do not expect it. Doing so increases risk of being rear-ended and can cause road rage. A self driving car is wrong, technically, in both cases if it does or doesn’t come to a complete stop. Just as it is wrong in both cases to exceed or not exceed the speed limit to keep with the flow of traffic. At the end of it I would side with what is legal which is what FSD does now as a result of the recall.

        The reason it did not come to a full stop before is because the whole system is trained on human drivers. And thats how human drivers drive.
