So I genned things on and off for a while using collab, as I don’t have any GPU good enough for it and cpu mode simply isn’t worth it because of the massive time between single gens. I used an Automatic1111 collab that allowed me to use my own loras and models via googledrive but google killed this a month or so back.
Has this sort of thing lived on anywhere and is it still possible? Or is stable-diffusion for absolutely free with no model/lora/plugin limits no longer possible as of now?
I occasionally check back on model hosting sites and noticed that people creating models/loras, especially for more niche/less vanilla fetishes, still hasn’t picked back up at all compared to the level of activity I used to see, so I have a feeling this sort of collab SD is still dead.
Thought I’d ask though as I do miss being able to do it.
AI Horde now has lora support, but I think it is still limited to whatever the workers have decided to make available, instead of letting you ship a lora with your request.
If Collab has stopped handing out free GPUs, you might need to either find someone else handing out free GPU time, or else set up for slower CPU rendering. It is apparently possible to install the A1111 UI locally and run all the inference on the CPU, and that would be free and not limited in terms of models/loras/plugins, at the cost of speed.
