You can have an advanced degree and still be ignorant about totally relevant facts. It’s actually easier if you’re ignorant about those facts, because you’re more likely to believe the things you say that don’t make sense.

I think you’ve accurately listed a lot of correct information, especially about the well-known plan that the GOP has been pushing for decades, but we shouldn’t assume that the guy has knowledge about slightly obscure topics.
