I understand it’s been ongoing for nearly a decade at this point, but I’m still constantly surprised by how open this guy is about his racism, misogyny, etc. while still remaining so fucking popular.
I mean, I understand why. I just hate what it says about a significant percentage of the American people. It’s fucking embarrassing.

Racism and misogyny are why he’s popular. Multiple studies have shown that is evidently why people voted for him in 2016. I, too, have been ashamed of my fellow countrymen for sinking to such depths. I now consider Republicans and Trump supporters to be my enemies, and not merely people I disagree with politically.
Yeah I know. Hence the second part of my comment.
