I bet you that you’re doing it through one of the Lemmy apps like connect for Lemmy of liftoff? I’ve noticed links don’t do shit on these apps.
Both ‘Microsoft Edge’ and ‘Mozilla Firefox’ on my computer and ‘Samsung Internet’ browser and ‘Lemur Browser’ on my Android smartphone failed to register my subscription. So I had to to use an app on Android called ‘Flyperlink’ which created ‘Bubbles’ like Messenger does for each web page you open before I got it to work.
