If you are a citizen of an EU country you can request your data to be deleted under the right to be forgotten act.

This site explains it well and gives an pdf template. Consider doing this instead of deleting your account.

Edit: If reddit does not comply they might get into trouble. EU doesnt fuck around.

    If you are a citizen of an eu country yes citizenship isn’t solely based upon residence
