This situations seems to me like you’re setting up unclear expectations for the sub though and prioritizing yourself over the sub. You’re not really controlling the situation, they are in that case. You don’t want to set a goal or expectation and then actively hinder being able to achieve it. It would be better in my opinion if they know they get a certain amount of time with the remote on after successful completion.
That being said, as long as everything is discussed and above board beforehand then go hard and have fun.

Tbh mfm is just something that doesn’t interest me. It just seems kind of awkward where one person ends up third wheeled or you go for a classic spitroast and try not to stare at the other dude. I see what you’re saying and I do agree with you. The reality is that the majority of people probably envision a mfm between three hetero participants in their fantasy of it. Unless both men are openly and comfortably bi there will probably be limited to no mm contact and it’s just sharing the woman. That’s the situation I was mostly referring to at least.
