I’ll be getting an iPhone pro in a week or two, and have been an android user since forever. Never used any apple products before, this will for now be a secondary work phone for me. I’ll also have their Apple One? service.

Looking for app recommendations, tips, tricks any and all suggestions anyone might have for a first time iOS user, to make the transition a little smoother and a little fun.

Thank you all.

In Accessibility->Display & Text Size are options to make bold text or configure auto-brightness if you want. If you set up an iCloud, you can set up “Advanced Data Protection” which makes most data stored in iCloud E2EE, would provide recovery codes and would have to set up a recovery contact I believe, so that’s just an option if you’re interested.

If you use any heavy-customization or such, Apple is a walled garden, so you probably won’t be able to 100% replicate your workflow on there as you have on Android but the big name apps, Google Calendar, Gmail, Outlook and such should sync nicely.

Overall though I believe the setup is pretty intuitive, if you stick with Safari you can change your search engine and other settings in the settings app on the phone as well.

AdGuard is a good adblocker, Bitwarden is a good cross-platform password manager if you need.
