CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCSC) - A man facing dozens of charges in connection to attempted child sexual exploitation is now out of jail and will spend no time in prison despite his guilty plea this week.
Edward Borne, who is originally from Texas was slapped with 35 charges in Charleston County in July 2023.
So he got stung by a cop pretending to be a kid. Eh. I’m fine with not having tax dollars pay for his room and board if there wasn’t any actual harm committed. The guy knows he’s going to be under a microscope for the rest of his life, so I doubt he’ll ever try this again.
What’s it feel like to defend child molesters?
You have no clue what so ever about these kinds of people if you think that.
They don’t stop, they just hide it better.
And this is never victimless.
That assumes that this person is capable of normal decision-making abilities in the first place. Judging by the fact that he got hit with 35 child solicitation charges to begin with, I’m not gonna hold my breath on him not becoming a repeat offender.
What about the rest of the 35 charges?
And I’m sure he’s never tried it before either. No point in looking into that.
