Just to chime in with the chorus. But half the country even voting is rare. It only happens sometimes during presidential years. And almost never on the in between years. And even then, especially at the national level. Republicans almost never win the popular vote. Republicans have boiled their base down to the most bat shit, irrational, and dedicated people.
