I don't want iMessage for Android – I just want everyone to use good messaging apps

iMessage for Android is only a cool idea because of the ridiculous attitude that's developed around the service, when other apps exist.

Every provider of communication services can. Singling out WhatsApp in that regard makes no sense. Apple happily hands over metadata and iCloud backups to the FBI.
