I can see several motives for him buying twitter.

Get trump elected, Because:

a) less taxes for the musky chodelet

b) less pesky safety and labour regulation for tesla/spacex/neuralink

c) drop support for Ukraine so he gets a shot at the rare minerals underneath it when russia has full control.
