          Because McCarthyism wasn’t about being anti-Russia, it was about being anti-communist. And since Communism is generally (always?) politically left, it’s still and always has been about being reactionary conservative.

        Yeah, the site is suspect. The article uses the Russian spelling “Kiev” instead of the Ukranian “Kyiv,” which is a giveaway that the site might be spreading Russian propaganda. Also:

            Argentina has a lot of Russians that go there to have their baby. Apparently the baby gets citizenship if born there. So a lot of Russian young couples go there apparently.

            What does having Argentinian citizenship get you though, from a Russian’s perspective?
