Really wish we had a better option but it’s anyone not fascist until this wave of budget fascism dies out

Over time I see less and less of the need to be like “lol I don’t like who I’m voting for, but I feel like I have to.” I see absolutely no regret in 1) voting against obviously they worst thing ever and 2) voting for someone who seems to a least try to do things that aren’t horrible and are generally pretty good? They only time you’re going to agree with everything a candidate says or does you’d be on the ballot yourself. Even then it’s probably healthy to disagree with yourself a bit.

I just hate that I’m forced to support Israel because the only other option is a literal dictator

Who also supports Israel. It’s not the president, it’s the MIC and every single moneyed interest powering the US.

A vote for third party is a vote for Trump.

You may not like it, but that’s what we have to deal with.

Sounds like your problem? You liberals should have nominated someone who doesn’t commit genocide. I live in Texas and my vote is ceremonial anyway. I’m voting third party and if that results in Trump, that’s your fucking problem to deal with, liberal. I don’t see Trump or Biden as meaningfully different and if anyone wants my vote, they have to appeal to me and my political interests.

Biden still owes me another stimulus check. Fuck him. I don’t owe Democrats anything.

Holy shit, hilarious. Thanks for demonstrating the typical intelligence of a “muh both sides!”-er.

Cool. Enjoy my third party vote that results in Trump I guess. Do you think I’ll vote for Biden if you call me an idiot enough times?

Holy shit, hilarious. Someone who is a complete asshole to someone else for no reason is now all of a sudden indignant that someone wasn’t nice to them. Thanks, again, for a further demonstration!

I’m an asshole to Biden and Democrats because they’re complicit in genocide, that’s where I’m directing my anger. If I was rude to someone here, I didn’t realize nor do I think I said anything rude to anyone.

Your statement “that’s your fucking problem to deal with, liberal” tells me you wouldn’t vote for Biden even if he gave you another stimulus check. You sound like a staunch Republican to me, you just drew the line at Trump. Wouldn’t surprise me one bit if you voted Trump once you’re in the ballot box.

                Do your thing dude.

I’m a communist. Left wing. I was prepared to vote for Sanders in a general election in 2016 and 2020 but the Democrats decided against me being allowed to do that.

I wouldn’t ever vote for Biden at this point because he’s complicit in the genocide of Palestinians. If the Democrats instead nominate someone with a platform similar to the 2020 Sanders platform, then I’d vote for them. It’s as easy as that.

not voting for someone because of your “flavour of the month” issue that has no impact to you seems to be the stupidest thing someone could do, given the stakes involved.

                    but you do you

You’d always find a way to accuse him of genocide or some equally inflated horror, it’s such a predictable tactic.

Yes, it’s predictable to accuse the president of genocide if they’re complicit in the genocide of Palestinians. I live in the current reality and that’s what is happening.

Lol. Trump is a fascist and has about a 35% ceiling for fascist voters in the US. Any vote you take away from his ONLY competition (in this case Biden) moves him one vote closer to victory. Keep your (nonexistent) money imbecile.

The thinking is that 3rd party votes will lessen the amount of votes Biden gets, thus allowing Trump to win.

You aren’t actually adding a vote to Trump’s tally, you are subtracting one from Biden.

Most of the Independents I know skew towards the Republican side anyway, so I’m just a little inclined to think a 3rd party vote will actually subtract from Trump’s tally, but I’m just a little old blue lady down in Louisiana, so what do I know?

I can’t even imagine how that is your take-away from my comment. If your very conservative family vote 3rd party, they are voting 3rd party. Not for Biden or Trump.

My comment is attempting to point out that 3rd party votes are going to have a consequence.
