On a tangential note, I am amazed that even in homeopathy there are ones who believe it and ones that are outright scammers. What I mean is that some homeopathic (sic!) “drugs” are made out of non-existent ingredients diluted into non-existence even more. To be a quadratic scam seems like an impressive achievement to me

It is all about dilution AND succussion. The shaking is what makes it powerful, that and magical thinking.
I once knew a homeopath who tried to kill himself by taking a massive underdose.
