When you buy a new PC—whether a high-end gaming device or an entry-level laptop—you expect it to be clean from the start. However, Windows 11 typically comes with at least a few unwanted pre-installed apps, called bloatware. How should you remove bloatware from your PC?

Being mad that Linux would work for more people than who already realize it would?! Super original. Suggestions of Linux are typically universally loved!!

That is not at all the issue. This is the Windows 11 community. By bringing up Linux it entirely misses the whole point of the community. Not everything has to be about Linux, regardless of your feelings about it. It’s like saying “all lives matter”.

I think this is the worst comparison in human history. Props.

Microsoft won’t stop enshittifying Windows reardless of how you feel about it. Or how unfamiliar Linux feels for you.

You already need an insane amount of scripting just to make it usable.

Not when it’s being shoved down their throat in every other post. Not everyone is interested in switching and answering people’s questions with “lol why you not on Linux just switch!” Are a waste of people’s time and not likely to get people to really switch. In fact, being pushy will reinforce people deciding NOT to switch.

Every other post? It’s almost like it’s popular. I wonder why? Maybe, it’s better. Just maybe.

I never claimed it was a successful strategy. In fact my only point is that people react to it the same way every time. Annoyed. No matter how the message is delivered or when it is
