minus-square@[email protected]linkfedilink8•1 year agoMy understanding is that it is only illegal if the information is personally identifiable… and posting such was against the rules anyway. It still pisses me off that they decided to rate limit comment edits/deletes just as everyone was making the exodus.

They deleted their account without deleting the comment. It has always been this way in my experience.
