minus-square@[email protected]linkfedilink2•8 months agoNot oddly enough. Exactly as expected. DMZ in networking forwards all ports to a specific IP address behind the firewall. That address is demilitarized. It has no firewall defending it.
DMZ is also between North and South Korea.
They also stand for the same thing (demilitarized zone) oddly enough.
