These are very sweet, and love the embroidery details!

All of the SDXL models are too airbrushy plastic to my eye, but you can’t argue with the hand quality over the older 1.5 models. One of the things I’m wanting to try is to start with an XL model to get the basic pose structure in place, then finish with the grittier and more realistic 1.5 models. That introduces a whole new level of adjustment knobs to play with!

I totally agree about SDXL and the airbrush look. It has really been bothering me compared to all the amazing 1.5 models I’ve collected. You can definitely start with XL and switch to 1.5 after getting a good pose/composition.

Edit: I just realized who I’m talking to! Of course you’re familiar with Comfy UI - lol.

Interesting, I’m guessing you’d probably want to use Comfy UI over Automatic 11111 for a flow like that, but I’d love to hear about it if you end up doing something along those lines!

Lol! Yeah, this workflow idea was one of the main reasons i’m making the transition.

The thing that’s tempting me is the possibility of being able to combine an XL Lightning model with an animation module (something I can’t seem to be able to do in Automatic). Just haven’t pulled the trigger yet…
