Hilarious how some people seem to think that we should just accept the mass killing of Palestinians because of something completely unrelated like Hamas’ attitude towards gay people.

Clutching at straws to defend the IDF!

Uh… Because they’re a Palestinian organization and Gaza is one of the most densely populated areas in the planet? Like where do you expect them to be?

Y’know some people claim that Russia recently declaring all LGBT groups as terrorist organisations is because the LGBT support groups are all CIA plants.
This is not a justification for Russia obviously, whether or not the CIA plant thing is true persecuting your own country’s queer community is always wrong. I just find it interesting that people have no problem condemning Russia and pointing out that this is a bullshit justification for homophobia but with Israel calling into question the morality of “hamas allegedly hides among civilians so killing Palestinian civilians is justified” will have people compare you to Hitler.

You are conflating multiple topics, tangling them, thus avoiding any semblance of nuance. My only question, are you self-aware enough do this in bad faith, or do you lack the ability to process the nuance altogether?

That is my takeaway from tangled perspectives such as yours.

There is a topic A, B, C, etc, but in your mind there is only one topic called ABCDEF…Z, and things are so tangled that you lost the ability to view each issue independently. It can be a convenient defense mechanism, if you tie enough topics together you can “mass decide” on them all at once, but that has the side affect of being indefensible when rational thinking is applied to each topic separately.

This is why commenters like you can’t process someone supporting gay rights, yet also wanting Palestinians intolerant of homosexuality to remain safe and alive. In your mind the issues are permanently entangled, I should hate them for hating me. It is a faulty assumption that people want to kill those who disagree with them, someone can hate me and I’ll still fight for their right to live.

I share this because if you are a good faith actor, then you’ll value this feedback and use it to apply nuance, strengthening your positions and rational defense of each. And if not, five minutes lost sharing some text with other strangers who may get something out of it. Nonetheless, wish you the best.

Would it be cooler to go after Hamas without doing war crimes such as starving children to death, or do you just approve of war crimes when they’re against a race you dislike?

Uh… Palestinians, including Gazans, and both men and women, are one of the most educated populations on Earth so I’m not sure what you’re talking about. If Hamas is preventing women from going to school it’s clearly not working.

I see by this user’s comments that the protests are working, and the genocidal Zionists are worried.
