PresidentĀ Joe Biden on Saturday calledĀ Donald Trump ā€œclearly unhingedā€ and claimed that ā€œsomething snappedā€ in the former president after he lost the 2020 election.

ā€œItā€™s clear that ā€¦ when he lost in 2020, something snapped in him,ā€ Biden told supporters in Seattle at a private fundraiser Saturday, according to reporters in the room.Ā ā€œHeā€™s not only obsessed with losing in 2020, heā€™s clearly unhinged. Just listen to what heā€™s telling people.ā€

Even though Biden thinks the presumptive GOP presidential nominee is ā€œunhinged,ā€ he said he believes the November election will be ā€œclose.ā€

ā€œWe feel good about the state of the race, but we know the race is close,ā€ Biden said, pointing to recent polls.

No. Itā€™s close because the corporate news sewerholes refuse to call Trump a demented rapist WHICH HE IS.

Heā€™s also a convicted fraud who still lies to this very day about the 2020 election, which indicates severe cognitive decline.

    Either is good.

But itā€™s not Joeā€™s problem to fix. Thatā€™s the utter, abysmal failure of corporate news media run by republiQan masters. They refuse to do the right thing and itā€™s up to us to make them do it through doing it for them enough they can pretend they thought of it.

Your sweet republican family and friends need to be told this is serious and not normal. Their media bubble isnā€™t going to.

The media has traded objectivity for eyeballs. Ever since that orange clown started running the first time itā€™s been a nonstop attention grabber and thatā€™s all the media wants now. Good or bad attention doesnā€™t matter, itā€™s just attention, and Trump draws it out massively. Media doesnā€™t want it to stop.

I hear you on journalism being completely dead in mainstream media. But, Iā€™m pretty sure the likes of MSNBC and CNN are wholly up Bidenā€™s ass. Youā€™re right about right wing media bubbles though, it requires human interaction to pierce through to them.

That said, Biden needs to take responsibility for his own abysmal actions. Continued support for genocide of Palestinians, shutting down democracy by avoiding a primary election earlier this year, and drilling for oil at historic record rates. Do you honestly believe this is appealing at all to left wing voters which Biden desperately needs to show up at the ballot box?

Look, I get it. I want all aid to Israel cut off forever, and we should be supporting the removal of Bobo Bibi and sharing evidence at the Hague. But the point is, with all this shit going on domestically, and the fascist, wholly undemocratic abandonment-of-founding-principles shit Cheeto Mussolini has been spouting, if the media (and social media) wasnā€™t so driven to keep us on a knifeā€™s edge, this election should be polling at a blowout. Iā€™m talking on the order of Mondale-Reagan blowout. Weā€™re sliding into Christian fascism, half the voting country is OK with it, and the furthest left contingent canā€™t see the forest for the trees.

Agreed on cutting Israel aid completely. Whatā€™s happening there is disgusting - 10s of billions of US taxpayer dollars spent on slaughtering innocent children in Gaza. Meanwhile, basic healthcare at home is virtually unaffordable for most Americans. Do you know that Israel has free nationalized healthcare for its citizens? Why donā€™t we have that?

Iā€™ll have to disagree that half the voting country is ok with nationalist Christian ideology. The majority of Americans are actually quite progressive, and this has been proven time and again via polling. The problem is we have no representation - Biden does next to nothing to appeal to the left, instead choosing to always move further right in order to compromise with his Republican friends in Congress, resulting in abysmally low voter turnout. This shouldnā€™t surprise you, because we have a system of legalized bribery in the US where corporations buy politicians to ensure precisely those results.

Bidenā€™s rhetoric is superior to Trumpā€™s, but his actions leave so much to be desired. In fact, I think you will find that both Biden and Trump both act to protect the interests of American business above all else. This Hobsonā€™s choice is what got us into this mess, and pretending that Bidenā€™s abhorrent record is even remotely acceptable is not going to get us out of it.

So you think people that are upset with Bidenā€™s actions with Israel are going to vote for tRump??? tRump will make damn sure itā€™s a genocide, heā€™s even said it. At this point, if you vote for tRump, youā€™re a traitor, a piece of shit, and terrible human. There is no defense, there is no justification.

No, are you brain broken? Nobody on the left is going to vote Trump.

Iā€™m asking why doesnā€™t Biden address the glaring problems with his administration concerning his votersā€™ interests?

Iā€™m also curious how Blue MAGA has been so effectively programmed to respond to any criticism of Biden by attacking the voters themselves, instead of demanding accountability from the government leaders. Do you watch much cable news?

w/r/t Biden doing for Palestine as a key progressive effort; I think as the NYT article that got posted here a day or to ago spelled out, Bidenā€™s been very much in Bibiā€™s face behind closed doors, but our favorite college student doesnā€™t know or care how mideast diplomacy works, or its history, risks, and assumptions.

Frankly, thatā€™s on us for assuming and posting that he ā€œsupports genocideā€. He does not, and has said so repeatedly. Maybe if Bush(s) had invaded Israel instead of Iraq (yā€™know, where we know very well they have WMD) and had taken control of that government weā€™d be able to dictate what we want the way so many seem to think we can, but it doesnā€™t work so simply. Heā€™s working on it, much more diligently and competently than anyone else whoā€™s running for president is able to.

And frankly at this point, spreading this lie that Biden ā€œsupportsā€ the obvious genocidal actions of Netanyahu is exactly the same as what a russian troll trying to divide Democrats, limit turnout, and swing the election to trump would do.

Ok, if Biden doesnā€™t support genocide, how come he has circumvented Congress over 100 times since oct 7 to send them 10s of billions worth of bombs which are actively being used to perform said genocide?

I believe that Biden has asked Bibi to stop. Do you know what Bibi does immediately after those conversations? He goes on Israeli press and absolutely dunks on Biden for being an idiot, in Bibiā€™s pocket, and that the killings will continue.

If Biden truly does not support genocide, wouldnā€™t the second most logical step be to stop sending them the very 2000lb bombs which are being used to level all civilian infrastructure in the strip? Why hasnā€™t he done this?
