Congrats again but is anyone else getting bored of this? Putting me off the sport to be frank

In terms of race wins, yeah it would be nice to see some variety. But if you ignore what’s going on with Max, it’s still exciting to watch the rest of the field changing round race after race. AM, Merc, Ferrari and now McLaren keeping us guessing who else is going to be on the podium, and Checo being a bit of a wildcard keeps the races interesting at least.

I get your point but it’s a bit difficult to ignore the most significant position in a race especially seeing how significant of an event it was that someone other than Verstappen picked up pole in qualifying yesterday

I don’t mean this in a disparaging way, new fans are just as important and their passion just as valid as grizzled ones.

But this era of domination isn’t new or unusual. Honestly, before Red Bull, it was Merc, then Red Bull. Every regs era has been dominated by a team. Some have been closer than others, but generally there’s always been one which is 90% better than the rest in terms of wins. It only changes towards the last couple of years before a regs change.

I would argue the cost cap makes this a new type of domination. They are setting records before the summer break and they will keep extending them well past

As someone who has sat though years of Mercedes domination I am happy for a change of leadership. The past three seasons have been more exciting in general as well. Get back to me when Resbull wins the 8th consecutive constructors in 2029.

        Yes, this.

        It was Lewis(2014), Lewis(2015), Nico(2016), Lewis(2017), Lewis(2018, Lewis(2019), Lewis (2020).

WTC? Even more boring, merc all the way. With the wdc we at least had Nico once.

And now people are moaning after 2 years? Come on, deal with it. It sounds more and more like chauvinistic bs if you look at the stats objectively.

The rest in f the field has been pretty mobile. McLaren coming up through the ranks. AM slipping down. Mercedes clawing out what they can. Ferrari Ferrari-ing. Plus Williams popping up out of nowhere. The overall, a pretty good season if you take out the front runners, which prob makes most seasons more interesting anyway

I started watching during Merc dominance, so it’s nothing new. I’m more excited for the fight for P2 every race now. We’ve genuinely got 4.5 teams in contention for it every race, and it’s been incredibly competitive so far.

This is better than HAM VER BOT or VER HAM BOT every race

Perez since he doesn’t seem to be able to lock out second place.

Technically only 1 Aston is fighting for it too, so it might round out to an even 4

It honestly doesn’t bother me. Formula 1 is just as much an engineering competition as it is a driving competition. This is just the nature of non-spec series.

Not to mention the fantastic competition behind RB.
