You get past the “timed” missions as soon as you learn how to play the game. They’re a non-issue. I honestly completely forgot about that until you just brought it up.
Oh awesome. I’ll have to try it again. I have a couple hundred hours in xcom 1 and play long war from time to time. Exciting to have a ‘new’ game to play!
