There is a local AMP I frequent, with usually 4 women working there. One of the girls has been there for years, the other three seem to rotate out after 6 months or so, roughly. There is one I usually ask for when I go, saw her this weekend and she confided in me that they work there every day, 7 days a week for 4 months, then they get one week vacation time. That seems like a brutal schedule to me, especially in this line of work. It left me wondering about some things. There are numerous parlors in my area, I’m certain not all of them operate like that. At many of the other parlors the girls only work certain days and have days off every week, I know that from going in a lot. But at this place the 4 of them are always there. I wonder why these girls work that grueling schedule when it seems there are other options and places to work possibly. Like even if you wanted to make as much money as possible it seems like the burn out factor would be huge from working every single day for 4 months straight. I don’t have a specific question really, it just startled me a bit and got me thinking about it all. Kind of curious what everyone thinks of this.
