This is kind of funny what happened to me.

I’m slowly working through a list of about 15 places around me that I’ve found through RubMaps or based on sketchy Google/Yelp reviews. I’m probably a little over 60% through the list so far.

I made the mistake this week of trying out a new place when I was having a legitimate pain in my shoulders and neck. I was hoping they’d do a decent massage (reviews seemed to indicate that they did) and then have a little release after. Big mistake.

What I got was probably the worst massage I’ve had in a couple of years (worst was they didn’t use any oil or lotion and it was just pinchy and pulled by leg hairs, lol) that left me in more pain somehow. On the flip after that bad experience she went in for the HE with zero lead up or indication that it was going to happen. She tugged me for a bit, but after the terrible massage and her being way to vocal with fake moaning it just wasn’t doing it for me. I ended the massage early and got out of there. Massive waste of money.

I booked it over to the best legit place I knew in the area and they actually fixed my crick in my neck, but they’re 100% legit so no finish for me. But at least my neck and shoulders aren’t sore anymore.

Oh well! You win some and you lose some. Moral of the story: probably don’t try out a new rub and tug place of you’re actually looking for a therapeutic massage.

I’m with you on the table shower front. It’s also part of my attempt to try all of the places near me. I’ve found one place that offers it .

Once you have one, it is hard to get a massage without it.

The warm water, hands all over you and the teasing is just great.
