What they knew then, that people can’t seem to grasp now, is that kids just don’t care about the adult stuff - it either goes over their heads or they think it’s funny. Now people lose their minds if an adult joke is made in front of kids, or people of the same sex kiss, or whatever.

I mean granted, I probably caught on to a lot of adult jokes that I shouldn’t have when I was younger because of this.
