I use lol to sound less stern and chastising, it’s a common thing in this day and age online, and complaining about it seems really unnecessary especially since you’re on an Internet forum where language like this originated.
I don’t think that is generally the intent of ending a sentence with lol. It is sometimes, probably, but most of the time it is for trying to convey a light hearted, friendly attitude - like a polite chuckle in real life. Millennials do it a lot.
One day you’ll realize that what strangers say and do on the Internet doesn’t matter. There are more important things to worry about, and you should look to better yourself before lashing out at others. Namaste, my friend.
I appreciate you’re trying to help here but look at it from my point of view. I’m just here, trying to share some pictures. Every day, in I come, six posts. That’s all I’m up to. Someone else posted the pictures on the internet, I went and found them, collected them over a period of time. And now here I am, posting pictures for people that like to look at sexy women in boots. By and large there’s no great reward from it but I look at it as a sort of a public service. If I get a name wrong I’m happy to correct it.
I thought, from the way it was said to me, that the lemmyposter212 was having a pop at me. Turns out he wasn’t but we needed dialogue to get to that point but I don’t see why, me being so public spirited and all, that I should have to put up with people taking the piss when I’m just trying to share content.
Also, good work with the joyfully participating in the sorrows of the world but as the koan goes, “This too shall pass” and you’re going to find someone doing something on the internet you can’t ignore because you’ve had a bad week or whatever.
You’re an admin? How is it that you can’t write a grammatically correct sentence and you end what you have to say with ‘lol’? Are you fourteen?

I read it, this time and every time, as ‘lol, you’re so stupid.’

Well I’m sorry it came off that way
I’m sorry if I overreacted.
Who the fuck pissed in your cheerios, man? Guy’s only telling you it isn’t Belle Delphine
Happens every time some posts lol at the end of a sentence. Button pops out on my neck and I’m in an argument.

Lol
And what would you like?
Lulz?
That’d make you happy? Carry on then.
Thanks for the posts, OP. They’re great.
You’re very welcome.
