    Lmao I’ve done this same thing at my old uni. I went to the second floor and asked to look at the language-learning books. Sat down, browsed a few, and tried the learning method on one for a bit to see if I’d like it for an hour, then got up and left. The girl at the reception was so confused and told her coworker in complete surprise as I left.

    I think I’ll go find that book online now that I think about it.

      … Is it not normal where you guys are to go to the library to read or study? Don’t they have like reading corners there?

        It really depends on what kind of library you’re at. University libraries: you may not find a spot to sit if you’re at the wrong time, hell I know a professor who hangs out at a different university’s library reading and writing; major city public libraries: there’s probably a few people doing so and it isn’t weird; small town/suburb/small urban branch public libraries: it’s very local culture dependent, but you’ll definitely find a decent chunk of them seeing it as strange
