Most democratic voters are actually liberals and not leftists as well. Though since FDR, Liberalism in the U.S. has somewhat lost its meaning and turned into anything left of center.
Ofc AP doesn’t understand or explain the difference between liberal and leftist.
Eg.
I’m sorry, is that a brain fart or did you actually mean to say leftists oppose abortion?
