My buddy wants to play Baldur’s Gate 3 but I don’t feel like paying for it.

    Pay for it.

When developers actually put this much work into making an incredible experience, it should be rewarded. Otherwise, more andore developers will trend toward F2P, P2W, GAAS crap.

As a player of the Early Access I gotta say: yea, this game is worth the price. I’m waiting until my day off tomorrow to start the full version.

There’s no MTX and they’ve stated that there won’t be any. The game is beautiful. They care and it shows.

Pay the money. Support good game developers. Pirate EA and the like’s shit til the cows come home IDGAF.

Well said. Funny though, I almost didn’t download the game because it had SO many issues in Early Access and I didn’t get a chance to enjoy it. Glad I listened to everyone else’s praise this last week.

With their stance on absolutely no microtransactions, this is a game that people should be supporting

I bought the game twice already, a copy for myself, and for someone else I know.

I’ll concur. This is one of the few games I’ve actually paid for, and it was worth every penny, even during beta. Probably going to be my go to for the winter.
