    No it fuckin doesnt.

“It’s dangerous out there, take this” is that old man, with a SWORD. And I’m pretty sure it’s the only Zelda game where an old man gives you anything.

It’s more like literally any other videogame

you know, you’re right. And I thought of making a similar comment. But it doesn’t really matter for the punchline, except us nerds are peeved by the inaccuracy. In Oracle of Seasons, he goes “Oh keeper of the essences! I have awaited your arrival! I give you this!”, so imo that’s close enough

I mean if you’re going to make a nerd joke for nerds, why not make it accurate for nerds?

Holy shit, you nerds are getting way too upset about the meme not being accurate to geek lore.

I wasn’t really trying to sound too upset, I was a cranky mess this morning. Sorry if I got on your nerves. Just thought I could be pedantic since I wasn’t talking directly to the Tweeter and wouldn’t hurt anybody

It’s ok I’m not upset, I’m just pointing out that the crankiness might be a bit overblown 😆

Neurodivergent people getting cranky on the internet? Whaaaaaat?

But actually, getting into fights online is dopamine seeking behavior. So being nitpicky, cranky, pedantic nerds is kind of a symptom.

In Breath of the Wild, that’s how you get your hang glider. From an old man.
