    Another source from 2018 shows 8% of vegans and vegetarians.

      OPs article is from 2022 and was a survey of ~920 people. The link to the actual study, if there was one, is broken.

      I think we can safely say there are vegans/vegetarians in the world. Income and religion probably are significant contributing factors. It wouldn’t be wrong to say between 4%-10% of Americans are vegan/vegetarian.

      I generally don’t care what cause anyone supports, TBH. My point is that data, especially in regards to preferences, needs accurate context.
