I think most people say that it’s not because it’s popular to do so. The series has some genuinely funny bits.
minus-square@SemjazalinkEnglish1•2 days agoLate by all accounts, but the whole episode where Phoebe finds out about Monica and Ross and tries to mess with them is funny. I think there are probably some funny scenes in early series, too. Most of it is very surface level and bland though.
