I don’t know if anyone else has noticed this but everything seems to be going down the tubes quite fast. And not fun tubes, like at a waterpark. The “ending in shit” kind. The issues are complicated, the reasons diverse, but there are a few culprits who have been making themselves extremely visible.

Everyone knows life on earth is going to end if we don’t stop emitting carbon

This is not what the science claims at all.

Yeah, it will just have huge impacts on mankind, the economy, wellbeing, and life itself. No biggie.

Unimaginable human misery on the horizon and your response is to pull a “sorry your response must take a form of a question.”

Yeah, it’s just going to suck for humans for a few million years, some endangered species are going to go extinct, but life will definitely continue.

Nope, not like that either. The science shows it’s gonna destroy human habitats along the coastline, if no mitigating steps are taken such as they have been in the netherlands and new orleans (dikes to hold back rising sea levels).

That’s about it for the negative effects.

On the positive side, there’s going to be greater crop yield per acre, and fewer deaths from cold.

Increasing temperatures will lead to increased human deaths due to high heat, far more than the reduction in cold deaths.

Crop yield per acre is not going to increase. What are you basing this off, the general notion that plants need CO2 for photosynthesis, so more CO2 equals more growth? Because the reality is that crop yield looks likely to decrease, because of ecosystem disruption

My faith warns of the mark of the beast. Carbon Is the 666 atom which released from the ground heats the earth.

I’m not even mad! I’m just into certain mythologies a bit enough to hear of random stuff like this.
