Been wanting to try a different AMP lately. I’ve been to the same one a few times, not bad. Just curious if anyone’s ever shown their MT an online ad for the place, like from rubsguide, and how it went.

Edit: Went to a new spot yesterday and had shown her the ad, but it didn’t seem to have made a difference lol. And I agree, @throwawayaug, we all know why we’re there. Glad the service was good tho, might go there again. Didn’t realize there are quite a few AMPs in my area until a few months ago.

Yes, she didn’t know how to find the ad or if it had real pictures of her or what services she offered. She was curious and asked me to show her. She’s completely new to AMPs.

I recently helped her go Indy and crafted her BP ad. She’s been my little window into the behind the scenes of the SW world. As her friends teach her things she is telling me how it all works.

I don’t bring anything like this up with my more experienced favorites as I think they would get spooked. This girl and I just clicked and both wanted to exchange info.

I don’t think I’ll ever do this. I treat it like an unspoken secret. We all know why we’re there. Showing them that their ads on these sites essentially out what they’re about just doesn’t seem useful.

What would be the point of it? To help them get more popular? At least for the places around me, they’re already too busy. I made an “appointment” just today and had to wait 30 minutes. And during my massage I’m pretty sure my MT left me sitting for five minutes to handle someone who just wanted “30 minutes”. And during my 30 minute wait there were like five people who came in. I just don’t see the point.
